Florian Brody

Executive Coach & Business Strategist

I’m a certified executive leadership coach and seasoned international business strategist. I work with individuals and corporate clients worldwide, supporting them in finding the next step in their lives and careers. As a marketing strategist and operations executive, I work with founders, entrepreneurs, and executives to develop their product and go-to-market strategies.

I was born, raised, and cultivated in Vienna, Austria, and have worked in a wide range of fields, developing a skill set that integrates science, art & tech, design, mindful coaching and business development. This background allows me to combine art and technology into new experiences for body, speech, and mind. I’m certified as an Integral Coach® from New Ventures West, an EMCC Accredited Coach at the Senior Practitioner level, and I hold a Professional Coaching Certification (PCC) from the International Coach Federation (ICF). I coach and mentor in English and German.

Since 1988, I have taught at universities in Europe and the US and held the Chair for Multimedia Studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg. I teach Digital Business Management at Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria, and the Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences, Germany. I also teach Innovative Business Models for Entrepreneurs at the University of California, Berkeley.

As past Vice President of the International Coaching Federation San Francisco Bay Area Chapter, I worked with coaches to develop their professional presence. My Zen practice for over 30 years has supported me in my work as a coach and an executive mentor. I’m a Co-Chair for media and entertainment at the German American Business Association GABA and founding president of ASCINA, the Association of Austrian Scientists in North America. As a speaker, I am comfortable speaking in front of five and 5000 people on various inspirational and professional topics, and my work is published in multiple languages. I currently study with my Zen teachers, Marc Lesser and Bernd Bender, and advanced coaching methods at Aletheia, the School for Unfoldment.

but I travelled the road before.
